State of Montana Operations Specialist in Butte, Montana
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Healthcare Facilities Divsion / Montana Chemical Dependency Center. The Operations Specialty oversees non-clinical facility functions and operations, includes, coordinating the facility lessor regarding all necessary property management issues, develops and implements activities to correct facility deficiencies, develops and conducts training for facility employees in all facets of functional facility, chairs the Safety committee and coordinates with Safety Officer regarding safety practices; oversees supply and billing tasks, updates and maintains the Incident Report database to track injuries of patients, staff and visitors. * * Why Join DPHHS * * Our mission at DPHHS is to serve Montanans in their communities to improve and protect the health, safety, and well-being, and to empower independence. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity * * * Ability to work cooperatively and protect patients’ rights and confidentiality. * Knowledge of emergency response procedures and experience with plan development and implantation. * Ability to coordinate and present training. * Meet minimum qualifications: o One to two years job related experience with facility operations occupational safety and building maintenance. o Other equivalent combinations of related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. o CPR/AED/First Aid/Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Instructor highly preferred. * * How to Apply To be considered for a DPHHS position, submit the following required documents with your application on the State of Montana Careers website.
