Your day.
As an RN OR Robotic Coordinator, you need to know how to:
Complete online Intuitive Surgical On-line training.
Work closely with Da Vinci rep for further education opportunities.
Observe and participate in Robotic cases when scheduled in surgery.
Orient team members to Da Vinci.
Surgeon console- moving and locking into place
Set up the patient cart and the surgeon console.
Assess patient safety before, during after each case and opportunities for improvement.
Teach the system shutdown procedure and the use of system connections and cables.
Identify and demonstrate draping and vision setup after draping.
Communicate readily with Robotic surgeons to troubleshoot and manage issues.
Manage the Robotic equipment and supplies to assure availability and sterility.
In-service OR staff yearly on the Da Vinci program and set up and provide any updates in a timely manner.
Your experience.
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
ASN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain your BSN from an accredited program within 4 years of hire unless you have 15 years of acute care experience, required.
Current Montana RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Montana RN license, required.
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required.
Current ACLS and PALS certifications, required.
Current CNOR certification or the ability to obtain within 12 months of hire, required.
Previous OR experience, required.
Previous PACU and/or SPD experience, preferred.
