Compensation $45,000 - $68,000 /yr DOE
Responsible for coordinating, expediting, and monitoring production tasks to meet the production schedule, maximize use of production resources and ensure on time delivery of product to customers. Responsible for preparing schedules and forecasts. Works closely with operations, product coaches, cell leads, planners, engineers, and maintenance to improve manufacturing run times. Works closely with internal and external customers to understand and deliver to customer requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work across functions, ensuring that resources are maximized to meet the established schedule. Coordinate with Operations, Planning, Customer Support, Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing activities to ensure on-time shipments.
Monitor production capacity and adjust production priorities as needed. P lan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations.
Identify and help eliminate bottlenecks.
Using a variety of data sources, prepare & publish production schedules. Monitor progress to the schedule at all work centers within the facility.
Utilize LEAN production techniques in daily scheduling.
Manage inventories for assigned cells supporting 100% “On Time Delivery Performance”. Works with purchasing and planning to avoid shortages and overages.
Communicate with internal and external customers and suppliers to assure production requirements are being met.
Provides customers with status of their orders and enters delivery commits into appropriate tools and reports. Facilitates customer meetings to report on delivery progress.
Review and approve customer orders, order changes.
Track NPI activities and communicate information to relevant parties.
Maintains data and schedules with summary reports to support business objectives.
Minimize aged WIP.
Assist in international Arms and Trade/ Government contracts and flow down.
Monitor work orders for correctness of materials issued, operations completed & quantities reported.
Supports overall organization in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment and other resources.
Work closely with teams to understand business and financial metrics to enhance individual and team skills.
Encourage an environment of continuous improvement for all assigned products / processes.
Assist in controlling production costs while maintaining the quality standards.

Qualifications / Requirements:
Associates degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing, production control, scheduling or planning.
Ability to speak/read/write English
Legal authorization to work in the US
5 years’ experience or equivalent in manufacturing, production control, scheduling or materials planning in an office or manufacturing environment.
Experience with ERP systems strongly desired.
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required.
Strong computer and analysis skills with ability to present statistical data

Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards and company policy.
Occasionally lifts 25 – 45lbs.
