Certified Water/Wastewater Operator for Town of ChesterThe Town of Chester is seeking to fill a full-time position for Certified Water/Wastewater Operator, or General Laborer who is willing to get certification as a Water/Wastewater Operator, within a two-year period, must obtain first license within the six-month probation period.Qualifications for the position include: High School graduate or GED equivalent; a valid license with clean driving record, and a Montana CDL, Endorsement Type 2, Class B (or ability to obtain CDL). Certification as Water/Wastewater Operator must include; Montana Class 3A Water Distribution Certification; Montana Class 1B Water Treatment Plant Certification; Montana Class 4C Wastewater Certification; or the willingness to obtain these certifications within a two-year period; must obtain first license within the six-month probation period.Duties for the position include but are not limited to: Unskilled, skilled, technical and maintenance work in the operation, maintenance and repair of the Town’s water and wastewater treatment and distribution facilities; perform all necessary work relating to solid waste management, streets, parks, pest and animal control.Salary is DOEApplications and a copy of the position description may be picked up at the Town Hall or by calling 406-759-5635.
