ALEWELT CONCRETE INC Farm Worker - Construction Laborer in CHESTER, Montana

Temporary full time position from 5/16/2024 to 10/1/2024 Measure and complete layout of livestock building and or poultry building. Mix, pour, or spread concrete, using portable cement mixer. Tend pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery or equipment. Position and dismantle forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts. Smooth and finish freshly poured cement or concrete, using floats, trowels, screeds, or powered cement finishing tools. Operate jackhammers or drills to break up concrete or pavement. Position, join, align, or seal structural components, such as concrete wall section or pipes. Tie rebar, position aluminum wall-forms, and place all concrete. Clean job site. Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs/75yds. One month of aluminum wall-form setting experience required. Clean or prepare site. Read plans, instructions, or specifications. Load and unload building materials and tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications. Bend and position rebar to specifications. Measure, mark, or record distances to lay out areas of work. Dig ditches or trenches, backfill, compact and level earth to grade specifications. Position, join, align, or seal structural components to form concrete wall sections. Provide signals to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of materials, including pumped concrete. Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces. Grind or scrape concrete as needed using abrasive tools. Spray materials, such as water, sand, through hoses to clean, or coat, surfaces as needed. Apply compounds to protect against entry of water or air as needed. Use skid-steer as needed to facilitate related work on farm. Workers will not operate bulldozers. Workers will not operate heavy excavating equipment. Workers will not operate road graders. Workers will not operate backhoes. Workers will not locate pre-existing underground services, such as pipes or wires, prior to beginning work. Workers will not signal operators to guide tractor-drawn machines. Workers will not operate trucks. Workers will not operate crawler tractors. Workers will not operate power cranes. Workers will not operate truck graders or related heavy equipment. Work will not involve any decorative finish work. Work will not involve any decorative design. Work will not involve decorative coloring. Workers will not smooth, finish, or align residential floors. Workers will not smooth, finish, or align residential sidewalks. Workers will not smooth, finish, or align residential roads. Workers will not smooth, finish or align residential curbs. Workers will not smooth, finish, or align residential gutters. Work does not involve the use of AutoCAD, RebarWin, Application Software SHEAR, Applied Systems Associates aSA Rebar, or any other software. Workers will not be engaged in any structural design. Workers will follow instructions related to simple concrete construction labor on a farm. Work at height, if any, should be limited to 12 feet or below. No certifications or educational qualifications apply. Safety training provided.
