Job Description:
Zurich School-District 17-is a K-8 rural school with an enrollment of approximately 25 students and a staff of 2 teachers and a full-time aide. The K-2 position has an expected enrollment of 9-10 students.
Perform duties that are instructional in nature or deliver direct services to students or parents. Serve in a position for which a teacher has ultimate responsibility for the design and implementation of education programs and services.
TASKS:
Tutor and assist children individually or in small groups to help them master assignments and to reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers.
Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, and school yards.
Enforce administration policies and rules governing students.
Discuss assigned duties with classroom teacher to coordinate instruction efforts.
Academic Qualifications:
High school graduation required. Some college, no degree is necessary.
