Positions are based out of Cut Bank, MT, right outside of Glacier National Park. You will need to provide your own housing, live in Cut Bank, MT, and have the ability to take truck home with you. Start Date: May, 2022 Employment Type: Full Time, Seasonal Schedule: Varies – 35 - 42 hours per week. Housing: Employee Housing is not available for this position. Responsibilities A day in the life of the Sanitation Driver: Oversee solid waste efforts for lodges in Glacier National Park. Coordinate pick-ups with Location Managers in a timely manner. Sanitation truck is provided and employee is responsible for bringing truck home after each shift. Safety operations of vehicles and equipment at all times. Maintain and update daily pick-up records. Provide solid waste education Parkwide. Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Essential Skills and Knowledge: Our East Glacier Drivers must possess a valid driver license, clean driving record, meet all DOT physical requirements, and pass pre-employment drug screening with random tests throughout the season. East Glacier Drivers will have the ability to operate box trucks (one ton) and lift gates. This position requires the ability to work with minimum supervision to complete assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner. Physical Requirements: Must be able capable of sitting, walking, standing, bending, and lifting throughout an 8 – 10 shift. Must be capable of lifting objects weighing up to 100 pounds. Ability to work in various weather conditions. Possess a valid U.S. Driver's License, pass DOT physical exam and pre-employment drug screen, and comply with the Xanterra Driver Safety Program.
