The Details: Positions start May - June 2022 and extend through mid- to late-September (dates depend on Location). Start Date: May - June, 2022 Employment Type: Full Time, Seasonal (ideally full season or early/late season) Schedule: Varies – 32 to 45 hours per week. Responsibilities A day in the life of the Maintenance Technician: Perform routine maintenance repairs and tasks on historical buildings. Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems. Provide, with Professional Demeanor, excellent customer service to our guests and staff. Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures. Perform other tasks as assigned. � Qualifications Essential Skills and Knowledge: Our Maintenance Associates must have general maintenance skills necessary for repairs and preservation of our historic buildings. Ideal candidate will have a keen eye for details and problem solving. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Some locations within Glacier National Park may require Maintenance Associates to have a valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record. Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk distances over uneven terrain, climb stairs and ladders in all types of weather conditions. Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 70 pounds. Frequent lifting and carrying of supplies, materials, and equipment throughout the day. Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, and crawl for extended periods of time. Working safely with required chemicals, tools, and equipment.
