The Recruiter at Nomad GCS plays a crucial role in shaping the workforce of the organization by researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies. This role is dedicated to attracting a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent, ensuring the organization's ongoing competitiveness and innovation in the marketplace.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITY:
Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
Collaborates with department managers to craft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
Implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on role requirements, industry standards, and organizational needs.
Manages job postings and advertising, screens applications, and selects qualified candidates.
Coordinates and participates in the interview process, including the preparation of interview materials and conducting interviews alongside managers and directors.
Works closely with HR staff and hiring managers during the offer process to determine salary ranges, incentives, and start dates.
Ensures compliance with all relevant employment laws and organizational policies.
Represents the organization at job fairs and recruitment sessions.
Take on additional duties as assigned.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE DESIRED:
Proficiency in applicant-tracking systems and HR databases.
Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and recruitment best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for creating reports and presentations.
Demonstrate understanding and application of Nomad Core Values.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Professional office environment with regular interaction with guests, clients, team members, and vendors.
Typical indoor manufacturing environment. Noise level is usually moderate. Safety glasses and closed-toe shoes are required when on the production floor.
Everyday workwear must be business casual/smart casual and appropriate for the office environment.
Subject to temperatures fluctuations if/when job duties require time on the production floor.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in recruitment, demonstrating thorough knowledge of full cycle recruiting and hiring processes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively.
Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and the capacity to initiate and adapt to change.
