Technical WriterA leading provider of communication and response products, located in the beautiful Flathead Valley, Montana, is looking to fill a Technical Writer position. The Technical Writer is responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining documentation to support training and professional development. This role involves producing clear, concise, and user-friendly materials such as manuals, guides, online help content, and training modules. The writer collaborates with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.Essential Functions and Duties:Develop and update training manuals, user guides, instructional materials, online help content, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, e-learning modules, and interactive training contentCollaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and instructional designers to develop and deliver effective training materialsReview and edit content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to company standardsOrganize and structure content logically, manage version control, and update documentationResearch industry trends, best practices, and analyze user feedback to enhance content effectiveness and implement continuous improvementManage documentation projects, timelines, deliverables, and ensure compliance with regulations, confidentiality, and data securityQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or related field3-5 years of proven experience in technical writing or instructional designExperience in workforce development or employee training preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and content creation toolsFamiliarity with CMS and version control systemsStrong portfolio demonstrating effective documentation and training materialsWhy you want this position:Starting Wage: $56,000 plus annuallySchedule: Full-Time Benefits:Health Insurance401(k)6 paid holidays3 weeks of PTOIncentive programsGet in touch!
