Roosevelt Medical Center Infection Control-Emergency Preparedness Coordinator in CULBERTSON, Montana

A full-time position (RN or LPN) is available for Monday Friday with an occasional weekday/weekend floor shift. Duties will include maintaining the infection prevention and control program designed to provide a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment and to help prevent the development and transmission of communicable diseases and infections. This will be accomplished by overseeing and directing the antibiotic stewardship program, creating and updating policy and procedures, and staying up to date with the Critical Access Hospital (CAH) State Operations Manual and the survey process. Duties for emergency preparedness will include scheduling disaster drills according to NIMS/ICS standards; implementing and carrying out disaster preparedness requirements for CAH Conditions of Participation; decontamination training, donning/doffing training, and respirator fit testing for employees; reviewing, developing, and updating disaster policies and training; evacuation planning and training; preparing and managing Hospital Preparedness (HPP) grant; and developing and testing an emergency response system for disasters within RMC's service area in coordination with other agencies. Must be willing to work floor shifts and obtain/maintain ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications. The list of duties may not be all-inclusive, other duties may be assigned as necessary. Sign-on bonus of $2,500 paid to newly hired full-time (32 or more hours per week) RNs and LPNs in three payments over the course of one year from hire date.nwjl
