AGROLINK Quality and Food Safety Technician in CUT BANK, Montana

Provides onsite support, and direction for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of all quality systems as directed by the Site Manager and /or QandFS Director. Assures that all products and packs produced at the site are safe for consumption and conform to the intended product design. This includes supporting change management and process improvement as the Site Quality Champion. Directs the quality and product safety components of all QandFS driven projects at the site through quality planning, supports specification development, and project oversight for compliance to GMP's and other company policies and guidelines. Supports the site implementation of all new products, line extensions and continuous quality improvement projects including the effective execution of line trials and execution of process capability evaluations. Manages the internal quality audit function for the site and assures the effectiveness of the corrective and preventative action process within the framework of the plant's/LinkOne?s Quality Management System. Work with the Site / Corp. QandFS Managers to create and/or manage an effective Food Safety Plan. Create and implement internal audit requirements and support management of CAPA activities. Must be able to assess risk, propose solutions and implement initiatives to continuously improve food safety compliance. A four-year degree is preferred, but not required. Degree considerations: Food Science, Food Safety, Agriculture, Animal Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Business etc. Two or more years? experience within quality and/or food safety in food or pet food manufacturing preferred.
