    Full Time Medical Imaging Technologist Therapy

    Job Description

Operates equipment and performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT and X-ray procedures on patients according to established protocols to assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment.. Performs proper x-ray exposure to aid in the diagnosis of fractures, diseases, and other injuries. Performs CT examinations with knowledgeable operation of the scanner and scan protocols.


  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists RT(R) required.

  • Licensed in the State of Montana.

Minimum Work ExperienceOne year of radiologic/imaging experience required. One year experience in CT preferred but willing to train. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Have the ability to perform venipuncture dutiesBe able to effectively communicate with both staff and patients and have thorough knowledge of the meaning and use of medical terminology and abbreviations

Have basic computer skills

Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of employment.

About Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center

Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center is located in the extreme Northeast corner of Montana in the community of Scobey. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit 25 Bed Critical Access Hospital with a Rural Health Care Clinic and 24 hour Emergency Room Care. We offer Home Health, Community Health & Hospice services. DMHC also houses outpatient therapy services in the Bjerke Wellness Center including physical therapy, speech & occupational therapies. The Wellness Center boasts of having one of the only therapy pools in Eastern Montana. DMHC has full time laboratory and radiology services, including 1 hour turnaround, 24 hours a day on X-Ray through our CR Reader. Pharmacy and dietician services are available via contracted personnel. Audiology and OB-GYN services are offered monthly through visiting specialists. Rural Practice at its best!
