DAYTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Paraprofessional in DAYTON, Montana
Dayton Elementary School is looking for a Paraprofessional to work in a multi-level classroom. Duties may include copying, correcting papers, supervising recesses, Music, PE, helping serve lunch, working with students one-on-one, and working with the Staff throughout the school day schedule. Must enjoy working with children, be reliable, and organized.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent 2. Aptitude for the work to be performed 3. Interest in children and education 4. Desire to assist students in a learning environment 5. Emotional maturity and stability necessary for the work involved 6. Such alternatives or exceptions to the above qualifications as the Board find appropriate and acceptable
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Approximately nine month working period per Upper West Shore - Dayton school calendar. 60-day probation. Salary per agreement at time of employment. Position constitutes an employee at will of the Board, with a contract length and salary to be established annually by the Board. Fulfills the requirements of the Montana Paraprofessional Standards. WAGE: $15/hourly, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. Paraprofessional positions qualify as full-time positions, 32 hours, in this 4-Day week school.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
