If you want to work making positive changes in the community the Montana Department of Corrections is the place for you! *JOB OVERVIEW – *The Montana State mental health bureau mission is to "deliver evidence-based services to meet the needs of incarcerated individuals who suffer from severe and persistent mental illness, acute emotional disturbances, and to prevent suicide and self-harm." * The LCPC/LCSW positions will ensure that the clinical needs of the inmate population are provided through clinical assessments, evaluations, diagnoses, therapeutic groups and individual sessions, emergency evaluations and management, and to provide clinical consultations. * Observe patients to detect indications of abnormal physical or mental behavior. * Manage case files and records for patients in treatment for mental and emotional illness. *REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS /Applications submitted without required materials may not be considered./ * Resume * Cover Letter * State of Montana Application Materials submitted but not requested will not be considered in the selection process, please make sure all attachments are marked as RELEVANT. QUALIFICATIONS * Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling. * 1 year of job-related experience. * Must be licensed or able to be licensed as a licensed clinical social worker or licensed clinical professional counselor by the state of Montana. * LCPC/LCSW Candidates are encouraged to apply but must be licensed within a year of hire date.
