Pursuit - Glacier Park Collection PEOPLE & CULTURE (HR) INTERN in East Glacier Park, Montana

What will you do in this job?

  • Actively participate in a range of HR functions including recruiting, on-boarding. & orientation, staff engagement, training, coach/counsel, ATS & HRMS, etc

  • Be the face our People & Culture team and represent our mission and values to our seasonal staff

  • Work closely and support hotel & GPC leaders

  • Represent the P&C team at weekly property leadership meetings and provide updates, support and training

  • Support the needs of a diverse staff, including international team members

  • Develop and execute engagement opportunities for all staff members including activities, outings, etc

  • Keep record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details

  • Offer assistance to guests and teammates where needed

  • Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited human resources, organizational development, or similar program preferred

  • Previous human resources or similar experience preferred

  • Work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key

  • You’ll need a valid US driver’s license

  • Be willing and able to work solo or as part of a team

  • Be committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards

  • Be organized with a great eye for detail

  • Be kind to others and always bring your best

  • Be a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions

  • Be helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mile

  • Be relaxed, flexible and able to handle a few curve balls

  • Be ready to have fun!

  • You need to be prepared for a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance) required
