C&B Equipment Part-Time Pilot Car Driver in Glasgow, Montana
Description C & B Logistics, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 30 years to include John Deere ag, material handling and power sports locations, has an opening for a part-time Pilot Car Driver in Glasgow, MT. This individual is responsible for escorting the trucks to and from pickup and delivery locations. A Pilot Car Driver is also responsible for ensuring the safety of the traveling public, prevention of damage to the highway system and load being transported. Essential Duties: Follows designated route in and out from sites as determined by leadership, the truck drivers and oversize overweight permits Directs movement of traffic to, from and through site, using amber lights and CB callouts Performs traffic control and flagging activities as needed: follows safety rules and regulations on all work zone and flagging sites, including placing signs, traffic cones and other warning devices; communicates using CB radio as needed; duties may vary according to job assignment Maintains proper speed at all times as determined by leadership Reports safety hazards and traffic problems to team immediately Maintains professional appearance and attitude.
