Glendive Medical Center Acute Care - CNA/ Nurse Aide in Glendive, Montana

Glendive Medical Center (GMC) is seeking a Nurse Aide to work in all areas of nursing unit which include: Acute Care, Pediatrics, ICU, Transitional Care Unit and the Behavioral Health Unit. This is a PRN (as needed) position with no minimum or maximum scheduled work hours. PRN Staff must work a minimum of one shift per three-month period. The Nurse Aide is responsible for performing/assisting with patient cares and assisting nursing staff with admission, discharge, pre-procedure, post- procedure, and transfer procedures. Nurse Aide is responsible for unit phone management, patient observations/checks, and following procedures to ensure safety of themselves, patients and co-workers.

Uncertified Nurse Aides have the option to be enrolled in the next C.N.A. class if they would like to proceed with becoming certified. GMC pays for your C.N.A. certification ($1500 value) and you get paid to take the class!

  • Current CNA Certification preferred, but not required.

  • Previous health care experience preferred.

  • General computer knowledge/experience required.
