EASTERN MONTANA VETERANS HOME Licensed Practical Nurses in GLENDIVE, Montana
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Valid LPN license in good standing
- Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment
- Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire
- Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Provide nursing care as directed by the Director of Nursing
- Supervise the program aide assigned to assist with nursing services
- Take and monitor patient vital signs
- Assist patients with eating, dressing, and bathing
- Administer medication
- Communicate changes in patient behavior or health status to Nurses, Physicians, and family members
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Collect specimen samples when needed
- Take an active part in patient care planning
- Prepare patients for transfers or discharge
- Assist in medical procedures
- Manage emergency medical situations
Full-time positions, working 12-hour shifts.
$36.00 - $38.00 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include: 401(k) and matching, dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, and vision insurance.
