UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO Paddlefish Fishery Assistant in GLENDIVE, Montana
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Interest in working with live fish in variable weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to multiple work sites
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Prefer someone seeking a degree or interested in seeking a degree in fish and wildlife or related field in natural resources, but not required
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Assist with sampling of paddlefish fishery
- Collect biological data
- Interact with the public angling community
Full-time, temporary position. Work is expected to be 40 - 45 hours a week. Duration of work depends on length of harvest season. (May 15, 2024 - end of harvest season, no later than June 30, 2024.) The primary workplace will be the Intake Fishing Access site.
$13.00 per hour.
