GLENDIVE POLICE DEPARTMENT Police Officer in GLENDIVE, Montana
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Have, or be able to obtain prior to hiring, a valid Montana driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good moral character
- Ability to pass a thorough background investigation
- Ability to meet Montana POST physical standards
- Must pass Montana POST written test
- No convictions of a crime which could have resulted in imprisonment in a federal or state penitentiary
- Eligible to possess a firearm
- Montana Post Certification is not required, although preference will be given to those applicants who possess a Post Certification
Duties include police patrol, investigation, enforce traffic regulations and other related law enforcement duties.
Full-time position, working 12-hour shifts. Days and shifts to be varied.
Starting salary is $4,357.50 per month, with an additional $1.75 per hour paid for night shift. Incentives for Associate, Bachelor and Master degrees. Take home department vehicle. Benefits include: vacation, comp and sick leave, holiday pay, MPORS 20 year retirement, and paid health insurance. All uniforms and equipment are provided.
