DAWSON COUNTY WEED DEPARTMENT Seasonal Weed Sprayers in GLENDIVE, Montana
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Valid driver's license, ability to follow written and verbal instructions and ability to operate required equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under supervision, operate spray equipment to control noxious weeks. Will drive on developed roads, and occasionally on rough roads, at times during rainy and windy periods and on snow and ice. With occasional supervision, will properly store and use herbicides, biological and cultural control methods, for the control of noxious weeds. Identify which weeds and areas are subject to spraying, and then calibrate and use technical and other equipment in the dispersing of chemicals. Prepare reports as required. Will usually work outdoors or in other places exposing the employee to wide variations in temperature. There is a risk of exposure to hazards, which can be significantly limited by use of proper procedures.
HOURS/DAYS: Full time, seasonal positions. Will work 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday.
WAGE: $15 per hour.
