FARM TO TABLE Store Manager in GLENDIVE, Montana

Farm to Table Healthy Food Store Manager GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS *A basic understanding of retail financial concepts, including pricing mechanisms, margins, and operating budgets, and the application of these concepts in day-to-day store management. *Previous grocery or similar retail experience helpful. *Familiarity with natural foods, food production practices, and a variety of dietary needs. *Order food and healthcare products with focus on local, organic and natural foods. Pay bills in timely manner. *Track consignments and pay quarterly or as arranged with producer. *Solid computer literacy in Excel and QUICKBOOKS. *Ability to work closely and cooperatively with the Board, producers and volunteer staff. Good customer service. *Willingness to work with little or no supervision. *Track finances, make deposits and be sure change is available for cash register. *Code barcode prices of new products or price changes in products into cash register so scan correctly. *Work as sales associate at store with good customer service. Computer available at store to manage finances. *Post new items on social media and market products through social media and newspaper and radio when appropriate. Promote local producers and cooperative member products. *See job description for specific duties and responsibilities.* Position is part time, 20 hours per week.
