CITY OF GLENDIVE Swimming Pool Manager in GLENDIVE, Montana
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Candidates with signification experience and knowledge in pool management operations preferred. Training equivalent to high school diploma required. General management experience preferred. Must have Lifeguard Training Certification or be able to obtain certification before the pool season. CPR & First Aid Certification and knowledge of pertinent Federal, State, and Local laws, codes and regulations is also desired.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include but not limited to, enforcing policies and procedures which ensure effective operations of pool facilities including personnel management and training. Duties involve all swimming pool operations, including first aid, rotations, scheduling of staff, swim lessons, public relations, janitorial duties, cleaning of the deck, bathrooms and bathhouse area, and all other duties as necessary or required. This employee is responsible to open and close the Splash Park and assure that the money from the pool is turned into City Hall Monday through Thursday at 5 p.m. On days City Hall is not open, they are required to secure the money in the locked area. The manager should have excellent organizational, communication, and public relation skills. This is a working management position requiring working many weekends and holidays.
Pay will range from $20 - $25 per hour and will be discussed with the successful applicant.
