What will you do as a Transport Driver?As part of the Operations and Sales Center Team, the Transport Driver is responsible for transporting, planning, and coordinating general duties of the sales center involving transporting of products, materials, supplies and equipment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTransport products to and from facility for delivery to customers.Perform required vehicle checks and load checks according to CCBCHC standard practices.Ensure that annual inspections are performed prior to the due date.Perform diversified duties to help maintain facilities to company standards.Operate industrial power equipment.Keep up to date on information and technology affecting functional areas.Generate and complete work orders as assigned.Responsible for pulling orders based on pick ticket to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks if necessary.Responsible for cleanliness of transport truck and cleanliness and organization of warehouse area.Monitor all product that is both incoming and outgoing for accountability accuracy and performing truck check-in when required.Load and unload designated trailers and/or route trucks.Hooking and unhooking designated trailers and moving and sorting dunnage items.Interface with other departments and other companies.Assist to oversee forklift units in same manner as any sales/service support or delivery vehicle.Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards.Conform with, abide by, and re-enforce all regulations, policies, work procedures and processes.
