GLENDIVE RECREATION DEPARTMENT Water Safety Instructors in GLENDIVE, Montana

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • Current ARC certification in Lifeguarding, Water Safety Instruction, First Aid and CPR
  • Ability to work outside in the sun
  • Good physical condition, good or corrected eyesight, and normal hearing
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Ability to relate positively to children and adults in public
  • Mature, responsible, punctual, and reliable

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Conduct American Red Cross swimming lessons.

Provide safe and clean environment.

Teach proper ARC swimming classes and complete all course records in a timely manner.

Perform duties requested by Head Guards, Pool Manager, Recreation Director.

Be 15 minutes early to prepare for scheduled work.

Follow all rules and regulations. Document and report problems and concerns promptly.

Deal with public in a mature, professional manner.

Part-time, seasonal position working approximately 10 - 20 hours per week in June, July and August. Days and shifts will vary to include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays.

$13.00 per hour and up, depending on experience.
