M1 is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic I with the following knowledge and experience:
Performs scheduled and unscheduled airframe, engine, avionics, electrical, fuel, hydraulics, flight controls, drive train, and rotor
maintenance on UH-1N Helicopters and other associated equipment, stands, AGE, tools, test equipment, vehicles, and shop
support items in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and the PWS.
Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies acquired
expertise in restoring equipment conditions and or operation, and applies acquired technical expertise to solve moderate
problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures' manuals
Performs in-flight checks and testing to include rotor track and balancing, and vibration troubleshooting if qualified.
Performs cleaning and corrosion treatment on assigned equipment.
Performs flightline functions including ground handling, towing, jacking, refueling, marshaling, launch and recovery.
Documents all inspection and maintenance actions in aircraft forms and IMDS.
Practices good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety at all times.
Maintains hangar and grounds IAW Company and PWS requirements to include snow and weed removal.
Operates Ground Support Equipment.
Participates in FOD walks.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
In addition, the candidate should possess the following requirements:
Knowledge and experience in technical, safety, and environmental issues involving aircraft maintenance. A working knowledge
of aircraft structural/comm-nav/instrument/avionics/electrical/engine/gearbox/drive train/ and rotor systems maintenance
USAF or equivalent aircraft maintenance formal military training or FAA A&P license required.
Three years' aircraft maintenance experience (with at least 1 year within the last 5).
Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, technical publications, special tools, test equipment,
and safety procedures required. Working knowledge of IMDS and MS Office products.
Ability/willingness to fly on military aircraft in performance of job requirements. Willing to travel on occasion.
Working knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal
brakes and sheers.
Ability to move about both inside aircraft hangar and outside on aircraft ramp within close proximity of running equipment and
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Maintain a clean and organized work place.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-
