Job PostingClient and Resident Financial Liaison - Administration (Great Falls, MT)Great Falls, MT • AdministrationDescriptionAt AWARE, we believe that families are our most important resource and that our connection with our communities is vital.We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Individuals to join our team as a Client and Resident Financial Liaison.AWARE is a statewide nonprofit organization that offers quality, community-based support for people with mental health and/or developmental disabilities and early intervention through Early Head Start programs.As a Financial Liaison, you would perform duties relating to the financial well-being of Clients and Residents. This includes understanding SSI/SSDI Representative Payee Protocols by conducting various reconciliation, communications, and accounts payable duties, Responsibilities include maintaining Rep Payee SSI/SSDI, Petty Cash (including client, summer program, youth residential and reconciliation) and Medicaid/Medicare and SNAPS Eligibility, Enrollment and Reviews.If you are passionate about helping individuals, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.Responsibilities:Completes needed reports.Informs immediate supervisor of all staff-related needs as they occur.Turns in all documentation as required and meets with the co-employees and the CFO as necessary.Assists the CFO as needed, along with offering support to all other administrative staff.Develop and maintain professional working relationships with assigned vendors.Maintain Purchase Card accounts, reconcile bi-weekly statements, coding to invoices, relevant databases, batch control and filing and maintenance.Perform petty cash reconciliation monthly for each area; makes account changes when necessary.Assists in the overall management of AWARE’s fiscal departments by illustrating initiative when needed and where expertise allows.Assists the Project Supervisor and Chief Financial Officer as assigned.Maintains assigned databases.To learn more please visit AWARE .We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.Requirements:Excited to join our organization?Talents, skills, and abilities:Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Accounting, Business, Mathematics, Human Services or Business Administration Technology is preferred. An equivalency can be achieved with a combination of experience and education.A minimum of two (2) years of accounting and computer experience is also required.Knowledge of accounting methods and statistical procedures is required as well as a working knowledge of office procedures and practices and of office machines.Requires 10-key, typing, spreadsheet, and word processing skills and the abilities to work accurately with details, to perform calculations, and to tabulate and record data accurately.Ability to work effectively with the public and administrative personnel and to maintain appropriate work habits, such as organizational skills, punctuality, responsiveness to supervision, and responsibility to job duties.Benefits:AWARE proudly offers an excellent benefits package, uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, professional growth, and achieving financial security.
