Quality Life Concepts Community Activities and Enrichment Manager in Great Falls, Montana
We are seeking an enthusiastic Community Engagement and Activities Manager to join our team. The primary functions of the Community Activities and Engagement Manager are to enhance and enrich the lives of adults with developmental disabilities by planning and implementing community-wide engaging and meaningful activity programs designed to fulfill the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of our clients.Responsibilities:Ensures activity opportunities for clients are created, coordinated, and implemented according to their plan of care as well as agency and state requirements.Supports Direct Support Professionals and other staff by identifying needs and ordering supplies for planned activities.Works cooperatively with other staff members to develop a weekly/monthly activity calendar for clients.Works as a team member to assure that the activities are challenging and meet client’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.Supports client safety by chaperoning activities.Promotes teamwork by willingness to accommodate flexible working hours on a regular basis which may include daytime, evening, and weekend hours.Requirements:* High School Diploma* Pass criminal background check* Must have a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and promote good customer service.Working knowledge of all aspects of client service delivery, including but not limited to: personal support planning, behavior support applications, community inclusion, etc.Must be dependable and reliable.Must be a self-starter, take initiative, and enjoy a certain amount of autonomy in their position.Must be a team-player with a positive attitude.Must enjoy working with all abilities.Must be detail-oriented in planning and execution of activities and events.Must have strong computer and tablet skills, and experience using social media platform, streaming video, etc.Must have good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, including during emergencies.Must be flexible and comfortable with everchanging daily activities.Must have the ability to accommodate flexible working hours on a regular basis which may include daytime, evening, and weekend hours.Must meet the criteria to be an approved driver for QLC and have reliable transportation.Must be a fun-seeking, energetic, dynamic individual who possesses strong emotional intelligence with natural leadership tendencies.Must have the ability to work productively with individuals and other team members to develop relationshipsFull-time, 40 hours per week.Pay: $16.15 per hourEqual Opportunity Employer
