Must meet eligibility requirements.Quality Life Concepts has immediate openings for Full and Part Time Direct Support Professionals. This is a non-exempt hourly position. Starting wage is $15.00/hr.Open shifts: 6:00am-2:00pm, split 6:30a-9:30a & 2:30p-8:00p, 10:00am-6:00pm, and 12:00pm-8:00pmWHAT DO WE DODirect Support Professionals provides daily support for adults with developmental disabilities living in their own homes by providing quality support services that will assist them to maintain independence, provide opportunities for community integration, and create a nurturing, safe, and healthy environment.WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALDirect Support Professionals assist in daily living including cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc.; Direct Support Professionals provide support for medical and health needs;* Direct Support Professionals assist clients with personal care, including dressing, mobility, administering medication, personal hygiene, eating and transporting to doctor’s appointments;* Direct Support Professionals ensure client safety and well-being;* Direct Support Professionals provide a positive and fun environment;* Direct Support Professionals help clients to learn applicable life skills and reach their personal goals.WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRINGCreative problem solving, coaching, understanding, patience, kindness;Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills;Willingness to support people’s preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings;Ability to stay alert and awake at all times.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOUPaid training!
