Reporting:

The Facility & Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Director of Maintenance.

    Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedure in hangar, mechanical equipment and utility systems: electrical; electronics/life safety; plumbing; paint; minor construction; and carpentry (masonry, roofing, locksmith).

  • Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the company.

  • Use of a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

  • Installs electrical wiring and equipment; new electrical services, wiring during remodeling projects; replaces and repairs wiring as needed.

  • Repairs electrical equipment and control circuits; replaces faulty electrical switches

  • Assists with the renovation/remodeling of building; repairs plaster and drywall; paints building structures.

  • May install computer cable.

  • Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.

  • Maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.

  • Replaces broken windows; repairs doors, door locks and closets.

  • Calibrates and repairs pneumatic systems.

  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • The physical demands listed below are representation of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The employee will be required to regularly lift 50 or more pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb ladders and stand for extended periods of time.

    Experience:

  • High School diploma/GED

  • Minimum of 1 year experience

  • Understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems

  • Working knowledge of tools and devices

  • Montana low pressure boilers license and welding experience is preferred.
