Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Field Technician 2 . This position will be located in Great Falls, Montana and will support the Ground Subsystem Sustainment Contract (GSSC) program.

What You’ll Get To Do:

This position is an opportunity to assist with site modifications of an ICBM deployment program. This position requires dispatching out to remote locations in the missile field daily and candidates will be subject to weather conditions.

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in installs and troubleshooting as necessary for equipment IAW approved tech data.

  • Assist on-site testing activities to verify functionality.

  • Assist with logistics requirements including but not limited to: inventory management, shipping, and receiving.

  • Assist with kitting and assembly when not deployed to the field.

  • Assist with other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Operate vehicles and equipment.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 4/10. Specific hours and days will be based on team needs and requirements.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).

  • Capable of lifting 40 - 50 lbs.

  • Active Driver’s License.

  • Able to operate vehicles and equipment.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with experience with installing/troubleshooting hardware.

  • Comfortable with heights (approx. 40ft) and operating from bucket truck.

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.


Salary Range: $34,400.00 - $57,400.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
