Performs duties and tasks to meet Town Pump and brand operational standards to ensure daily cleaning, upkeep, and preventive maintenance, small repair for property maintenance of grounds, building facilities, and guest rooms. Some locations may require driving the shuttle van. Model the Hotel Group Mission Statement “Genuine Hospitality from genuine people committed to providing comfort and service.”
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS NEEDED:
General knowledge of building construction, repair, maintenance, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing preferred.
Knowledge and ability to use basic work tools and equipment.
Ability to work well under limited supervision.
Ability to communicate in a courteous, professional manner with teammates, management, and guests.
Ability to be punctual and work within a flexible work schedule.
Have a strong work ethic. Must display a high degree of pride and integrity in job performance.
Valid Driver’s License with acceptable Driving Record.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the best possible experience for each guest, within the framework of Town Pump operating guidelines. Display a high degree of work ethic and pride in workmanship.
Complete all required company and brand specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner.
Follow Town Pump’s grooming and appearance guidelines and wear uniform and nametag at all times while on shift.
Under direction of supervisor, install small maintenance items as needed for repair.
Complete tasks and assignments on daily and preventative Maintenance Checklist.
Ensure exterior building and grounds are clean and clear by removing trash, debris, as well as removing weather related hazards such as snow, ice, and other debris.
Complete Maintenance Request Forms within 24 hours.
Report all known issues with services, equipment, and property; ensure work orders are in place.
Update maintenance records on equipment, tools, and mechanical systems on property.
Ensure all equipment, tools, and inventory stock is secure at all times.
Practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Blood borne Pathogens.
May be required to perform duties in other departments, as needed such as cross training with Front Desk.
Comply with Town Pump expectations for confidentiality of guest and company information.

Ability to walk, stoop, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, carry, lift, climb, and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to tolerate cleaning solutions on a regular basis.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle in all types of weather and road conditions.
