NeighborWorks Montana Housing Stability Specialist in Great Falls, Montana

POSITION POSTING: Job Title: Housing Stability Specialist Position Status: Full-time: Grant-Term Limited to 12-18 months. (If additional funding becomes available, NWMT will consider extending the position term.) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Three years of experience working in related administrative or customer service field. Proven ability to work in a small team, collaborative environment. Proven ability in oral and written communications. Proven experience in customer service and strong customer relations skills, preferably with vulnerable or at-risk client populations. Proficiency with relevant software and database management (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Forms). Evening and weekend work may be required depending on client needs. Employee may home-office in Montana or be located at the Great Falls or Missoula office. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: CUSTOMER PROGRAM SUPPORT - Receive and manage intake assessments for the Housing Stability Counseling Program - Identify applicants in crisis and respond to those assessment inquiries within 48 business hours - Respond to all other assessment inquiries within 72 business hours - Work with applicants who qualify to apply for other applicable state programs, including but not limited to the Montana Emergency Rental Assistance program and the Housing Assistance Fund - Support program outreach and communication efforts as requested by supervisor and Marketing team NETWORK FACILITATION - Perform ongoing partner outreach, support and training including coordinating regular Foreclosure Counseling and Financial Coaching calls, and ensure counselors have access to required training - Provide soft handoff to counseling team, Montana Legal Services Association, and other referral partners - Use electronic calendar Acuity to schedule appointments with network counselors - Follow-up to ensure clients have been assisted by all referrals - Send NWMT assessment results, crisis budget, and all other documents gathered in the assessment phase to appropriate counselor DATA MANAGEMENT - Enter client data as required by funders and to support client, counselor, and partner coordination - Support monthly reporting and data quality control - Track follow up six months after clients are reported for level 3 counseling Including pulling client credit reports and managing sensitive Personally Identifiable data Health benefits and paid time off is included with this position.
