System One Inspector in Great Falls, Montana
Mountain Ltd. has an opening for an OSP Inspector working in the Great Falls, MT area!

Overview:
+ + Monitor construction crews for compliance with client and jurisdictional requirements and specifications, including but not limited to cable/duct depth, separation and clearance requirements, labeling, grounding, node site construction, etc. Track and monitor any exceptions in depth. All data shall be recorded in client systems
Ensure job site(s) is clean and secure at the end of each day
Document and monitor quality instances that require remediation through full remediation. All data shall be recorded in CLIENT systems.
Manage remediation work resulting from customer complaints. All data shall be recorded in client systems
Document initial utility strike and report to client OSPC resource for proper distribution of notification, determine type and cause per client utility strike process and update status through final remediation of strike. All data shall be recorded in client systems.
Confirm and update HSR (hard surface restoration) type once captured by OSP construction contractor. If HSR is identified as pass through provide to client OSP resource for approval. All data shall be recorded in client systems.
Ensure that each SSR (Soft Surface Remediation) instance that cannot be fully remediated in 14 days window is captured and monitored to be fully repaired. All data shall be recorded in client systems
Document and understand change to construction that will result in design change and relay to OSPC for approval
Confirm and update cost adder change request once captured by OSP construction contractor. Send cost adder change request to client OSPC resource for approval. All data shall be recorded in client systems.
Qualifications:
Previous experience performing NESC inspections or experience working on an aerial cable line crew
Previous experience performing wooden pole ground line inspections.
Must be proficient in OSP Construction Standards
Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code.
Computer experience:
Microsoft Windows XP, Excel 2003 or newer and Outlook
Experience with mapping tools such as Microsoft MapPoint 2009 or newer is preferred, but not required.
Familiar and comfortable with internet usage, and web page browsing.
Good communication skills.
Personal time management and organization skills.
Construction contractor management skills.
A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel on short notice.
