Reporting:

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible to the Director of Quality.

    Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise Quality Assurance personnel including actions of a disciplinary nature (excluding termination) in their department.

  • Responsible for internal audits of the repair station facility and its internal activities.

  • Responsible for monthly review of Shelf Life Controls, Test equipment calibration and controls, and Technical Publications.

  • Advises the Director of Quality on matters related to Quality Assurance activities and repair station standards.

  • Ensures personnel receive periodic formal and on the job training as applicable; meeting the requirements of the Avmax approved training program.

  • Promote company values, vision and mission.

  • Ensure the accurate and thorough completion of technical records by maintenance personnel.

  • Ensure Avmax technical records are controlled and properly stored.

  • Ensure internal and external audits are completed as required to maintain the Avmax Quality Assurance program.

  • Establish and maintain a Quality Assurance program.

  • Make recommendations for revisions of the RSQCM or other standards to the Director of Quality.

  • Controls Company issued Stamps and the Avmax Roster, and ensures required training is accomplished prior to the approval of authority changes.

    Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated capability and competency in field of expertise

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization

  • Possesses fundamental aircraft knowledge

  • Superior knowledge of CFRs.

    Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience within a Management/Supervisory role.
