Job Title: Mitigation Technician
Job Description
The candidate will be assisting with demolition and cleanup work of vacant homes after natural disasters. The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED and previous experience with carpet cleaning, water/fire/smoke damage, and mold remediation. However, we are willing to train the right individual.
Responsibilities
Assist with demolition and cleanup of water/fire/smoke damage and mold remediation in vacant homes after natural disasters.
Learn and perform disaster demo and cleanup tasks.
Handle emergency/disaster recovery tasks.
Provide excellent customer service.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Utilize a variety of hand and power tools.
Bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed, sometimes repetitively (upwards of 50 lbs.).
Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience with carpet cleaning, water/fire/smoke damage, and mold remediation.
Willingness to learn disaster demo and cleanup tasks.
Excellent customer service orientation.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience using various hand and power tools.
Physical capability to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of proven work history.
Ability to work on their feet for extended periods.
Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Great Falls, Montana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00
