Benefis Health Systems Organizational Development Specialist (Full Time) in Great Falls, Montana

Job Description

Responsible for direction, planning, implementation, evaluation and overall management and development of non-clinical organizational and leadership education. Key focus areas include employee engagement and satisfaction, patient experience, orientation and on-boarding, new leader mentorship program, performance evaluations, and system wide professional development. Responsible for coordinating, performing and implementing programs that align workforce with key business strategies and initiatives.

Performs needs assessments for the planning and development of organizational and leadership training.

Create and implement programs at work that connect employees with business goals.

Develop methods for data file formatting, data analysis methodologies, and management reporting.

Create effective strategic planning methods and develop methods of measuring performance management which aligns with organizational goals.

Implement organizational and department effectiveness mediations and develop team-building exercises and workshops.

Work with leadership to identify specific work situations requiring employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.

Recommend training and development systems.

Create definitions of desired individual or group performance.

Performs needs assessments for the planning and development of organizational and leadership training.

Develops education and training programs for leadership development.

Reviews evaluations and seeks feedback to meet staff development needs and improve organizational outcomes.

Demonstrates adult learning principles and skills in presenting information.

Demonstrates skills in designing, managing and coordinating learning activities.

Demonstrates use of audio-visual and other equipment.

Assesses individual learning needs and performs one-on-one education/training as needed.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in related field required.

2 years of Leadership or Organizational Development experience required.

Healthcare field experience preferred.

Language Skills:

Able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Other Skills:

Extensive computer knowledge in a variety of programs.
