Great Falls Clinic Patient Services Representative - Emergency Department in Great Falls, Montana

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The front desk receptionist greets all visitors at the front desk providing the first impression of the facility. Responsible for admitting patients for Emergency Department visits, hospital stays and/or surgery, answering incoming calls, collection of co-pays at the front desk, preparation of admission packets, and patient labels. Additional duties include daily deposit preparation, sorting and filing and other duties as assigned. Receives direction from: Emergency Department Director, Emergency Department and Inpatient staff and providers and DON.

SHIFT:

Sunday: 7am-7pm

Wednesday: 7am-7pm

Thursday: 7am-7pm

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Customer Service and the use of multi-line phone answering.

  • Must have some knowledge of medical terminology.

  • Ability to multitask, problem solve and provide outstanding customer service.

  • Must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Typing skills required.

  • Strong math skills required.

  • Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
