Summary/Function:

The Retirement Plan Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive analytical support and handling the day-to-day transactional administration of the company’s retirement plans, both the 401(K) and the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), in compliance with plan documents and legislation.

Required Experience:

Primary Qualifications:Prior experience with 401(k) retirement plan administration is preferred, prior experience with an ESOP is a plus.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, Strong customer service orientation.Excellent attention to detail.Solid Excel skills are required.Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Primary Duties:Manage core monthly, quarterly, and annual plan processes, to include new hire enrollments, ESOP distribution requests and plan force-out distributions.Regularly monitor plan activity, transactions, and data reporting. Identify and investigate issues, compile information and prepare operational and financial reports and analyses of assigned plans.Work in close coordination with relevant internal departments and third-party administrators to troubleshoot issues, develop solutions, and ensure compliant administration of the plans.Interface with employees, former employees, and beneficiaries to answer retirement plan questions, provide timely support, and appropriately escalate issues to the Benefits Manager as they arise. Promote employee education on the retirement plans via communication campaigns, training, and events.Assist with annual audit process, gathering information requested by the auditors, researching and responding as items are surfaced, working with internal external partners to complete requests.Partner with the Benefits Manager to evaluate plans, current processes, industry trends and legislative requirements, and present recommendations for changes or enhancements to management.Assist with ad hoc projects across the various functions of the Benefits teams, which may include annual enrollment activities, employee communications, vendor appraisals, etc.*Maintain collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues to effectively contribute to the working group's achievement of goals, and to help foster a positive work environment.
