Location: On-Site, Great Falls, MTCompensation: $19.12 - $22.30 + night shift differentialOverview: ADF International, a North American leader in the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of complex steel structures and modular construction, is seeking a Yard Operator for our steel fabrication plant in Great Falls, Montana. The Yard Operator will operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, and overhead cranes to move materials. Truck driving experience is preferred.What We Offer:•Competitive starting pay between $19.12 - $22.30•$1.00 night shift differential•Bi-weekly, monthly, and yearly attendance incentives •Eight (8) paid holidays•Opportunities for further training and career advancement•Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, retirement plan, etc.)•100% employer-paid medical and dental premium optionsResponsibilities:Relocate materials using a forklift as instructed.Load and unload supplies to the required area, and/or load goods onto and off a truck.Move material/supplies to a designated storage area or the stockroom.Perform routine inspections on all equipment and rigging before use to verify its condition.Follow the OSHA safety checklist to make sure brakes, lights, steering, the horn, and other parts of the forklift are working properly.Perform tasks using the overhead traveling cranes and/or hoisting gears as needed. Maintain situational awareness and always pay close attention to safety. Excellent ability to efficiently operate various pieces of heavy equipment as needed. Knowledge of equipment load tolerances, specific requirements, and limits. Proficient mathematic and mechanical knowledge. Any other duties assigned.
