The Resort at Paws Up Food & Beverage Communications Agent in Greenough, Montana

The Resort at Paws Up is seeking a Food and Beverage Communications Agent to add to our team. As the Communications agent you will communicate with the guests and team members across the resort. You will answer all food & beverage questions via The Paws Up app or through telephone. You will also grow to have a knowledge of all menus and food & beverage items and be able to time manage In Home Dining orders and reservations. You will assist the culinary team meets proper ticket times for In Home Dining orders and reach out to guests to confirm Dining reservations, dietary restrictions as well as special occasions.

This position starts at $20 an hour and goes up from there depending on experience.

The Primary Functions are:

  • Assist in opening duties associated with opening the restaurant

  • Organize food items to be run

  • Communicate with Chef to ensure dishes are complete and ready to be run

  • Ensure that plates are cleaned and polished for service

  • Clearly communicate with other runners to deliver food properly

  • Always work in a safe, efficient, and professional fashion

  • Prepare a set up workstation and all tables in a timely manner

  • See to all guest needs in a timely manner

  • Be professional always in your dealings with guests, co-workers, and management

  • Know the sequence of service and follow it each time when approaching a table

  • Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and presentation

  • Answer questions pertaining to the Restaurant menus

  • Keep up-to-date knowledge on all menu items including preparation, any allergens, and alternative preparations, and specials; Communicate food restrictions to Food & Beverage and Culinary team

  • Check food before serving it to guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature, order and portions are correct

  • Follow Up with In-House guests about dining plans and reservations

  • Ensure confidentiality of guests before and throughout their stay

  • Assist with guest service issues accurately and promptly; Communicate effectively with Restaurant Manager to assist

  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of Resort information and amenities

  • Work in collaboration with other teammates to deliver guests expectations

  • Maintain a clean, organized dining room and workstation

  • Perform opening and closing duties

  • Maintain table settings, cleanliness and service throughout the course of the meal

  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures

    Looking for Team Members with:

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the food & beverage industry, preferably in a resort or fine dining setting

  • Basic culinary knowledge

  • Knowledge of world class hospitality and service

  • Valid Food Handler’s License

  • Valid State Driver’s License with two years driving experience

  • Proficient ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the day

  • Has a friendly and professional manner under periods of high demands and with guest, team members, and management
