Position: 

The Resort at Paws Up is seeking to add a Resort Beverage Manager to our team. T he resort beverage manager will oversee all beverage operations at The Resort at Paws Up, including but not limited to; Pomp, Tank, Trough, Shed, Green O, Glamping, In-Room dining, Chuck Wagon, special events, catering and banquets. Coordinate all beverage staff with a hands-on management style conductive to executing the day-to-day operations of the Resort.

    Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation/execution of all beverage and wine menus at the Resort at Paws Up including but not limited to; Pomp, Tank, Trough, Shed, Green O, Glamping, In-Room dining, Chuck Wagon, special events, catering and banquets

  • Responsible for all-training programs, staff development, policies and procedures for the beverage staff

  • Responsible for the delivery and execution of the beverage budget

  • Responsible for overseeing/assisting with all beverage inventories and controls

  • Responsible for F&B employee relations at Tank including but not limited to; reviews, disciplinary actions, training, daily service line up, etc.

  • Engage with clientele, promote positive public relations – Act as the face of all beverage operations for the Resort

  • Assist with all private events, banquets, private dining, etc.

  • Assist with all day-to-day operations as needed across the Resort

  • Act as MOD in the absence of the Director of Restaurants

  • Perform any and all duties as assigned by Director or Management team

    Looking for Team Members with:

  • Minimum 3 years resort/hospitality management, experience in high-end food service

  • Minimum three (3) years experience as a bartender/mixologist

  • Must have extensive knowledge of wines and be able to establish/maintain the excellent relations with our suppliers/vendors

  • Must have strong organizational skills (written and verbal,); computer skills including Word and Excel; basic accounting skills.

  • Sommelier certification not required

  • Able to effectively lead and develop junior managers, service staff and other employees of the resort into cohesive team.

  • Work flexible, demanding hours
