We are seeking Server Assistants to join our Food and Beverage team. The Server Assistants are responsible to assist servers in water and bread service, clearing and resetting the tables in a timely manner and other duties as business needs dictate. Server Assistants provide prompt, courteous and professional service to guests and maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and off-site function areas. They deliver food and beverages to guests’ accommodations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Server and guests needs.

  • Assist in the duties associated with opening the restaurant.

  • Know the sequence of service and follow it each time when approaching a table.

  • Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and presentation.

  • Attend to guests upon entrance.

  • Answer questions pertaining to the restaurant menus.

  • Keep up-to-date knowledge on all menu items including preparation, any allergens and alternative preparations and specials; communicate food restrictions to the Food and Beverage and Culinary team.

  • Check food before serving it to guests to ascertain that appearance, temperature, order, and portions are correct.

  • Converse with the guests at a high level, being aware of their needs and fulfill special guest requests as instructed by management or the guests directly.

  • Ensure confidentiality of guests before and throughout their stay.

  • Assist with guest service issues accurately and promptly; communicate effectively with the Restaurant Manager to assist.

  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of The Resort information and amenities.

  • Wor k in collaboration with other teammates to deliver guests expectations.

  • Maintain a clean and organized dining room and workstation.

  • Deliver food and beverage service to guests who inquire about in-home dining.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related coursework

  • Minimum 6 months of food and beverage experience, preferably in fine-dining or a resort

  • Knowledge of world class hospitality and service

  • Valid food handler’s license

  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet company driving policy

  • Proficient ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the day

  • Maintain a friendly and professional manner under periods of high demands and with guests, team members and management

    WAGE

    $11.00/hr. plus $7.00/hr. bonus
