The Resort at Paws Up Warehouse Supervisor in Greenough, Montana

The Resort at Paws Up is seeking to add a Warehouse Supervisor to our team The purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor is to oversee warehouse operations.

The Primary Functions are:

  • Scheduling warehouse staff in a manner to optimize pick-ups, deliveries and order processing while minimizing overtime.

  • Manages and controls the physical condition of the warehouse and delivery equipment, facilities, grounds, etc.

  • Move inventory and materials across facilities.; Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and deliver to proper location on Resort property.

  • Research inventory discrepancies utilizing shipping documents.

  • Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and productivity.

  • Work in conjunction with resort departments to prioritize warehouse tasks and share resources.

  • Ensure that all products are properly received and put away for proper location management and order fulfillment.

  • Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.

  • Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure information is delivered efficiently.

  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of Resort information and amenities.

  • Keep management promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so that prompt and corrective action can be taken when appropriate.

  • Schedule staff according to volume of business; understand how to flex when necessary to meet labor expectations; ability to adjust daily operations to be in line with the budget.

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of Warehouse team members; actively promote, train, coach, and recognize performance.

  • Submit future goals, operational improvements, and personnel management to their reporting leaders.

  • Complete all Warehouse projects as assigned.

  • Attend and often lead all mandatory meetings.

  • Communicate and maintain timelines and priorities.

  • Maintain flexible hours to accommodate guest and special event needs, due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry; Position requires full availability including evenings, weekends, holidays or as needed.

    Looking for Team Members with:

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work, preferred college degree

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of warehouse/logistic center experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a manager

  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team

  • Ability to skillfully operate powered material handling equipment, preferred

  • Physical ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50 pounds and to stand/walk for 6+ hours each day

  • Proficient ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and prioritizing workload throughout the day

  • Has a friendly and professional manner under periods of high demands

  • Valid State Driver’s License
