LMR Technical Group Procurement Technician in Hamilton, Montana
LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Procurement Technician.Location: Hamilton, MT. Teleworking eligible.Job Description: The Procurement Technician will independently provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of support services.Duties and Responsibilities:Assists in the preparation and verification of contracts and associated documentation to prepare a complete contract package.Validates receipt of requested items by reviewing packing slips.Enters data into automated tracking and reporting systems.Maintains invoice reporting logs.Resolves invoice problems in coordination with the purchasing agent or contracting officers.DeliverablesWork products and documents related to maintaining purchase card files. collecting invoices, obtaining receiving, following up on issues and/or problems. - Ad-HocWork products and documents related to the providing excellent customer service. - Ad-HocWork products and documents related to providing assistance in file clean-up and stale logs. - Ad-HocOther related duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:Associate's degree.Minimum of 1 year of related experience.Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management.Experience with Federal acquisition and purchasing systems.Experience with deliverable review and acceptance, invoice management, and tracking and reconciliation.Ability to provide timely, professional customer service through communications that are clear, concise, correct, and positive in tone.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience working with the National Institute of Health (NIH).*This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required by this position.
