Ward Clerk/Telemetry Tech opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Ward Clerk/Telemetry Tech position in our Nursing Department. The Ward Clerk provides clerical duties for the Medical-Surgical, SWING, Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) and Birthing Center Units. They are responsible for day to day activities in the department, i.e., answering phones, contacting providers, coordinating department paperwork and working within the electronic medical record.

The Monitor Technician, also called the Telemetry Technician, observes the heart beats, electrocardiograms and continuous pulse oximetry of patients on telemetry for the inpatient and outpatient units. The telemetry technician is able to recognize basic cardiac rhythms including life threatening rhythms.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma, General equivalency diploma (GED)

  • Licensure and Certifications: Successful completion of Telemetry Course

  • Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities : Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.

    Schedule: PRN, as needed
