One Health Coding Manager in Hardin, Montana

This is a remote position, but the successful candidate should live within driving distance to any one of our sites across Montana or Wyoming. Occasional travel to the clinic site(s) may be required.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Coding Manager to lead our coding department. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our coding processes, compliance, and education. COMPENSATION: $58,215.35-$60,320 yearly/DOE

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time

AVAILABILITY: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the coding department, ensuring accurate and timely preparation and submission of claims.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the coding team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Conduct audits and reviews of coding processes to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

  • Serve as a resource for healthcare providers and staff on coding issues, offering guidance and solutions.

  • Collaborate with the billing team to address insurance billing and claim denials.

  • Develop and present educational tools and procedures for coders and providers.

  • Stay current with industry trends and regulations to drive continuous improvement.

    What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or in lieu degree, of eight (8) years’ experience or a combination of associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience

  • AHIMA (CCS) or AAPC (CPC) Coding certification.

  • Minimum of three years of experience in outpatient coding.

  • At least one year of supervisory experience.

  • Valid Driver License

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
