Entry Level:$22.77/$30.58 - $28.46/$38.22 /hour

Position is eligible for Employee Referral Program.

Job Summary:

Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Operate, maintain and repair facilities, compressor engines, and other equipment involved in transportation and storage of natural gas in assigned station and field areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

Operations Specialist I:

• Must possess a working knowledge of natural gas operations at a level normally acquired through the completion of a two-year degree with strong technical emphasis or related experience.

Operations Specialist II:

• Must possess a working knowledge of natural gas operations at a level normally acquired through the completion of a two-year degree with strong technical emphasis or related experience; and.

• Two years’ experience as an operations specialist or equivalent related experience

Operations Specialist III:

• Must possess a working knowledge of natural gas operations at a level normally acquired through the completion of a two-year degree with strong technical emphasis or related experience.

• Four years’ experience as an operations specialist or maintenance specialist or equivalent related experience.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong mechanical, electronic, computer and interpersonal skills.

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with internal and external customers.

• Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in the use of personal computers and commercially available software.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proven time management and organizational skills.

Operations Specialist II in addition to the above:

• Employee must demonstrate skills, knowledge, and ability to:

o Perform routine maintenance and repair of all required station equipment.

o Recognize matters needing attention and initiate action on that recognition.

o Work with minimum supervision.

o Understand policies, practices, and precedents to exercise sound discretionary judgement in handling or referring non-routine situations.

• Must have demonstrated technical proficiency.

Operations Specialist III in addition to the above:

• Demonstrate strong leadership abilities.

Additional Requirements

• Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.

• Required to maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Commercial driver’s license may be required.

• Requires travel 5% - 20%.

• This position requires that you be able to respond to call outs within one hour.

Operations Specialist II/III in addition to the above:

• Complete all required training and study courses.
