HARLEM LUMBER COMPANY Sales Associate in HARLEM, Montana
Description: As a Sales Associate, you will be primarily responsible for assisting customers by identifying their needs, and recommending products or merchandise based on those needs, in a retail setting. Additional duties will include stocking, taking inventory and cashiering.
Responsibilities: • Welcome and identify customer needs • Explain products and services to customers • Recommend products or merchandise, based upon customer's needs • Process customer purchases and returns accurately, while complying with store policies • Maintain knowledge of store sales and promotions. Monitor inventory to make sure product is in stock • Compare physical inventory to computer inventory counts, and identify discrepancies or errors • Uphold all safety regulations and security policies • Clean and organize store equipment, tools, supplies and other areas
Qualifications: • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields • Previous experience with point-of-sales computer systems • Great communication skills • Willingness to learn, and maintain knowledge of products and merchandise
Compensation & Benefits: • $1S/hour • 32-40 hours/week • 1 week Paid Vacation after employed 6 months, +1 week after a year • Health lnsurance • Dental and Vision lnsurance • Simple IRA Retirement Option
